SM-2

Aerojet Rocketdyne produces the Mk 104 Dual Thrust Rocket Motor (DTRM) for the Raytheon produced Standard Missile - 2 (SM-2).  The SM-2 can be rail or vertically launched and its primary role is to provide area defense against enemy aircraft and anti-ship missiles.  SM-2 Blocks III, IIIA, and IIIB are in service with the U.S. Navy; these and other variants of Standard Missile are also in service with fifteen allied navies.  Aerojet Rocketdyne also produces the Mk 125 focused blast-fragmentation warhead that imparts greater velocity to warhead fragments in the direction of the target.
