Contractor Pre-Approval Process
To be Pre-Approved, contractors must submit the following documentation:
- Completed Contractor Pre-Approval Form EHS-F-7.02.01.00.0025
- Current Experience Modification Rate
- OSHA Citation History for 3 previous years
- Completed Contractor Training Documentation Matrix Form EHS-F-7.02.01.00.0027
- Company Safety and Health Plan and Environment Program. Written SH&E programs must also meet specific regulatory requirements if work is performed in the following states
- CA Reference Links: General Industry IIPP, Construction IIPP
- WA Reference Links: General Industry APP, Construction Safety Standards
- Stennis Space Center links: General Industry Requirements, Construction Requirements
- NAICS Code of Industry Classification (submit for Stennis Space Center site)
- Code of Safe Work Practices (submit for Los Angeles site)
Contractor Renewal Process
Contractors who are engaged in high risk activities or required to work in the production areas or other high risk areas are required to be pre-approved by SH&E before being allowed on site. Approval must be renewed every three years. Contractors must submit the following documentation to renew their approval status:
- Submit Contractor Pre-Approval Form (EHS-F-7.02.01.00.0025)
- Company's Written Safety, Health and Environment Program
Submit Documentation
Submit the required documentation to the Procurement Compliance Administrator at AerojetRocketdyneSupplyChain@rocket.com.
Aerojet Rocketdyne's Safety, Health and Environment (SH&E) Department will review the documentation. If SH&E finds the documentation to be satisfactory, the contractor will be added to the Pre-Approved list, allowing the contractor to initiate work at the site.
