The bunkhouse is approx. 800 sq ft. with one bedroom downstairs and a loft w/bunk beds. It is beautifully built with cedar throughout, has a composting toilet inside plus an outhouse nearby. Like in the main cabin, electricity provided by solar panels. A woodstove in the main living area heats the entire cabin. The estate, one of the more fortunate spots in the world with the absence of any traffic noise, is located 25 miles NE of the Mackinac Bridge/St Ignace, one mile back from Simmons Road reached by a gravel road and a good two-track which ends at Round Lake. If you wish to live surrounded by nature then you may come and take a personal tour. You might hear a welcome from the loons who nest every year on the lake or even see a beaver swim by!
