A half mile up Highway 55 from the subdivision is the gateway to the mountains along the river for many miles to North Idaho. Drake's Island Crossing Subdivision is a small sub with only 12 lots. The lot on Mallard Lane is the only lot that has been available for resale since the subdivision was sold out in 2020.
