Aerojet Rocketdyne products serve vital and demanding aerospace and defense markets that must be error free, perform as specified, and be highly reliable. This requires that we demand a high level of performance of ourselves and our supply partners. We will provide feedback to our suppliers monthly via the Supplier Portal Gateway. In some cases where the measures are below expectations, corrective actions may be requested.

The following are some of the measures we will be using to evaluate supplier performance:

  • Delivery Performance
An expectation of at least 95 percent on-time delivery with a grace factor of no more than seven calendar days late as measured against the required contract line item due date. Partial deliveries are counted as delivery failures if the entire quantity ordered is not delivered by the due date. Percentage is determined by scheduled items received on time divided by scheduled items due.
  • Quality Performance
Aerojet Rocketdyne requires that all parts and products purchased meet the full requirements as specified by the Purchase Contract, the drawings, specifications, and any Quality Notes therein. This includes expected documentation required upon delivery. Suppliers are expected to maintain at least a 98 percent Quality Rating. The rating is calculated by using a weighted factor based on where the nonconformance event is found in the life cycle.
  • Refer to the Supplier Rating System (SRS) pamphlet for further details.
